Traditional envelopes are prepared from a sheet of paper slice to one of three shapes: a rhomb, the arm cross, or a kite. These shapes enable for the formation of the envelope design by breakdown the sheet sides around a middle rectangular area. In this way, a rectangle faced field is formed with an array of four flaps on the overturn side.
